We developped this free WordPress theme sample in WordPress 2.0.2.
This is a comprehensive theme that contains all template files (and more) of the WordPress default theme, aka Kubrick theme.
When you purchase a WordPress theme from TemplateXtreme, you normally get all the sources, including the .psd originals. This way you can make some changes in Photoshop and re-build some .jpg images to your taste. Templates with Flash are also delivered with the .fla originals. Because we wanted to make this download fast, we didn't include the .psd files. Actually we didn't even make much use of Photoshop as we picked a photography for the main design.
Customers also get a full WordPress install, including a demo database adapted manually to their domain name. Again, this is something we just can't do here for this theme sample.

Installation

Installation is straightforward as with any themes made for WordPress: just copy or upload the templatextreme_sample directory into your wp-content/themes/ directory, then select it from the administration menu.
Important: This theme makes use of the StickyMenu plugin. Although it'll run without it, the main navigation menu only display if you install it.

How to set up the menu using the WordPress admin panel:

- Download from http://tela-web.com/wordpress-plugins/sticky-menu. Upload the plugin to your server in the wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Activate it in the "Plugins" panel.
- Look for the "Sticky Menus" sub-panel under "Manage".
- Add some menu items to a menu named 'main' (if you choose a different menu name, change sidebar.php and footer.php accordingly).
This menu will display at the top of the sidebar and in the footer.

How to use the embedded contact form:

Write a page with:
- post slug => contact
- page tempate => contact
If you write some page content, it'll dispay above the fields.
Email is sent to the site's email address as defined in the Options panel in the admin.

You can display a short text (sticky) at the top of your homepage, where you can briefly introduce your blog for example:
- Write a page with a brief content (post slug => about_short)
- Write a page with a longer content (post slug => about) and a link to this page will appear at the end of the about_short content.
